The Oral Syringe Adaptor 2.5 (V) is designed for PET bottles and compatible 11 mm oral syringes. This dosing plug connects the bottle with the syringe for liquid withdrawal. Furthermore, it works with several Farmmash closure models.
Customers can choose separate components or an adaptor preassembled with the 1.4CRC-D cap. Therefore, the supply format can match the available filling and capping equipment.
The adaptor sits within the bottle neck and provides a connection for the syringe. During use, the required volume is measured using the syringe’s graduation scale.
Possible applications include compatible oral solutions, syrups and suspensions. However, the selected formulation and syringe should be evaluated together. The adaptor itself does not deliver a fixed dose.
For this reason, syringe selection should consider both dimensions and the required measuring range. Bottle neck geometry also matters when selecting the complete packaging configuration.
The Oral Syringe Adaptor 2.5 (V) supports two sealing arrangements.
With 1.4D, 1.4D Cone and 1.4CRC-V caps, sealing is provided by a foam liner. Each cap must therefore have the appropriate liner for the selected assembly.
Alternatively, the 1.4CRC-D cap seals the adaptor directly with its sealing cone. This configuration also allows the cap and adaptor to be supplied preassembled.

Supplying the adaptor inside the 1.4CRC-D cap reduces logistics costs. In addition, the combined assembly simplifies component handling during production.
This option supports lines without a separate adaptor insertion station. Consequently, manufacturers can introduce the adaptor without handling it as a separate line-fed component.
The assembly should still be tested with the actual capping equipment. A production trial can confirm feeding, positioning and closure application.
When ordering, specify the PET bottle, syringe model and preferred closure. Also indicate whether separate or preassembled supply is required.
