The Child-Resistant Cap 1.4CRC-V is a screw closure for compatible 28 mm bottle necks. It combines a push-and-turn mechanism, tamper-evident ring and foam polyethylene liner. Together, these features support secure closure of liquid products.
This version is intended for syrups, suspensions and oral solutions. Furthermore, its optional accessories allow different dispensing configurations within one packaging system.
To open the cap, the user presses down and turns it. This coordinated action makes opening more difficult for young children. However, child-resistant packaging does not replace safe storage.
In addition, the tamper-evident ring provides a visible indication of first opening. It serves a different purpose from the child-resistant mechanism. Therefore, both functions should be checked when evaluating the complete package.
Medicines must remain out of children’s sight and reach. After each use, the bottle should be securely closed.
A foam polyethylene liner provides compression sealing against the bottle’s sealing surface. When correctly applied, it helps prevent leakage during storage and handling.
Consequently, sealing performance depends on the complete bottle-and-cap combination. Important factors include neck dimensions, surface condition and application torque. Product compatibility must also be assessed before commercial filling.
This configuration uses a compression liner. It should not be described as an induction-sealing system.
The Child-Resistant Cap 1.4CRC-V is available for selected PP28 and PCO1810 bottle configurations. Suitable combinations include glass, PET and HDPE bottles.
However, a shared 28 mm designation does not guarantee interchangeability. The exact neck drawing and cap version must match.
For convenient dosing, the closure can be combined with a Measuring Cup SD-15. Other options include an SD-25 measuring cup, pouring plug or dosing syringe adaptor. Each accessory should be selected for the intended bottle and formulation.
