The Child-Resistant Cap CRC18-TE12-0036/0037 is designed for bottles with a DIN168/GL18 neck finish. It combines a child-resistant function with visible tamper evidence. Therefore, the closure is suitable for liquid products requiring additional packaging protection.
The cap can be used with pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, veterinary and cosmetic formulations. It also supports various dispensing configurations when paired with compatible Farmmash components.
The child-resistant design helps reduce unintended access by young children. Meanwhile, the tamper-evident feature indicates whether the package has already been opened. These functions support product integrity throughout distribution, storage and use.
However, no closure should be described as completely childproof. Medicines and other sensitive products must remain outside children’s reach.
Child-resistant performance depends on the complete packaging system. Consequently, the cap and bottle should be tested together. Testing should also include the selected product and dispensing component.
Where applicable, the completed package may be evaluated according to ISO 8317. This standard describes testing methods for reclosable child-resistant packaging.
The Child-Resistant Cap CRC18-TE12-0036/0037 is intended for selected glass, PET and HDPE bottles. The bottles must have a compatible DIN168/GL18 neck finish.
Furthermore, the cap can be combined with selected vertical and horizontal Farmmash dropper plugs. Available configurations may include the 2.2E, 2.2V and 2.2V SP1 series.
The correct dropper plug depends on several product characteristics. These include viscosity, surface tension and the required dispensing rate. Bottle dimensions and neck geometry must also be considered.
A correctly selected combination supports controlled dispensing and reliable sealing. Nevertheless, compatibility should always be confirmed before commercial use.
