The dropper plug 2.2 E (A) is designed for controlled drop-by-drop dispensing of liquid products when the compatible bottle is tilted into the dispensing position. Its horizontal configuration supports convenient handling and controlled product delivery.
The internal dispensing geometry includes two auxiliary openings. These openings support air exchange, stable liquid flow and controlled drop formation during use. As a result, the component can help provide a more consistent dispensing experience.
The dropper is fitted into the bottle neck and functions as part of a complete packaging system. It is intended for use with a compatible bottle and closure selected according to the required neck dimensions and application. The actual drop size and flow rate depend on the formulation, viscosity, surface tension, bottle design and user handling.
The component may be considered for pharmaceutical, veterinary, cosmetic and other liquid products. Before serial production, compatibility with the formulation, bottle, closure and filling line should be confirmed through qualification testing.
The horizontal dropper is manufactured from low-density polyethylene (LDPE). This material provides flexibility and suitable mechanical properties for a dosing component. Injection moulding is carried out in ISO Class 7 cleanrooms at Farmmash production facilities in Ukraine.
The materials used are selected in accordance with applicable food-contact and pharmacopoeial requirements. For general information about the European framework for materials intended to contact food, refer to Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004.
