The vertical dropper plug DV18-0129 is designed for controlled drop-by-drop dispensing of liquid products from compatible bottles. Its elongated dispensing nozzle directs the liquid flow and supports convenient, targeted application.
The plug is intended for bottles with DIN18/GL18 neck standards. It is installed in the bottle neck and functions as part of a complete packaging system together with a compatible bottle and closure. The component can be used for pharmaceutical, veterinary, cosmetic and other liquid products, subject to compatibility testing.
The vertical design supports controlled dispensing when the bottle is inverted. However, the actual drop size and flow rate depend on the formulation, viscosity, surface tension, bottle design and user handling. Therefore, the complete system should be qualified before serial production.
DV18-0129 is manufactured from low-density polyethylene (LDPE). Injection moulding is performed in ISO Class 7 cleanrooms. The dropper plug can be combined with compatible screw, tamper-evident and child-resistant closures. Preassembled supply with a compatible cap may also be available for selected projects.
For pharmaceutical and food-contact applications, review the applicable requirements for the target market, including EU Regulation 1935/2004 where relevant. Compatibility with the selected bottle, closure, filling equipment and formulation must be confirmed during qualification testing.
