The horizontal dropper plug 2.2 A (B) is designed for controlled drop-by-drop dispensing of liquid products when a compatible bottle is tilted into the dispensing position. Its internal dispensing and air-return channels support stable liquid flow and controlled drop formation.
The dropper is fitted into the bottle neck and functions as part of a complete packaging system together with a compatible bottle and closure. It may be used for pharmaceutical, veterinary, cosmetic and other liquid products, subject to compatibility testing.
The component is manufactured from low-density polyethylene (LDPE). Injection moulding is carried out in ISO Class 7 cleanroom conditions. The materials used comply with applicable food-contact and pharmacopoeia requirements.
Compatibility with the selected bottle, closure and formulation should be confirmed during qualification testing.
