Closure 1.1 for 20 mm Bottle Necks

Closure 1.1 for 20 mm neck bottles is a standard screw closure for compatible plastic or glass containers. It can form part of a primary packaging system for medicinal products, healthcare products and food supplements.

The closure can be combined with stopper 2.1 or stopper 2.1A. The selected stopper fits inside the bottle neck, while the screw closure keeps the packaging system closed.

Closure 1.1 can be considered for liquid products when the bottle and neck geometry meet the technical requirements of the complete system. Potential applications include:

Compatibility Testing

Before serial use, the complete system should be tested with the bottle, stopper, closure and intended product. The evaluation should cover leak tightness, dimensional compatibility and application torque.

Transport and storage testing is also recommended. When automated capping equipment is used, the complete system should be evaluated on the customer’s production line.
