Tamper-Evident Cap 1.4K GL18

The cap 1.4K GL18 is a one-piece tamper-evident screw cap designed for bottles with a GL18/DIN 168 neck finish. Its integrated control ring provides visible evidence of first opening and helps users check the integrity of the package before use.

The screw-on design supports convenient application and secure fixation on the bottle neck. In addition, the one-piece construction simplifies assembly and reduces the number of separate components in the packaging system. When combined with a suitable dropper plug, the cap supports controlled dispensing of liquid products.

Farmmash can supply the cap separately or assembled with a compatible dropper plug. Available configurations include vertical and horizontal dropper models such as 2.2E, 2.2V and 2.2V SP1. Vertical droppers are generally used when the bottle is inverted, while horizontal versions are used when the bottle is tilted into the dispensing position. The correct configuration depends on the bottle geometry, formulation viscosity, required drop characteristics and intended method of use.

Applications and compatibility

The closure may be considered for pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, veterinary, cosmetic and other compatible liquid products. It can be used with selected glass, PET and HDPE bottles featuring the required neck geometry.

Compatibility should be confirmed for the complete system, including the bottle, dropper plug, cap, formulation, filling equipment and storage conditions. Testing should cover thread engagement, fixation strength, first-opening performance, sealing and dispensing operation.

Quality and manufacturing

The cap is manufactured in Ukraine. Injection moulding is carried out in an ISO Class 7 cleanroom at Farmmash production facilities. The materials used are selected according to applicable pharmacopoeial and food-contact requirements. General cleanroom classification principles are described in ISO 14644-1.
